The Temple Music Group is a cornerstone project of the Zen Compound, a multi-faceted entertainment complex and lifestyle hub founded by electronic music pioneer and entrepreneur Paul Hemming. From the Zen Compound headquarters in San Francisco's vibrant SoMA district, Temple Music Group collaborates with a host of top Bay Area electronic music veterans and emerging talents working across genres, from Electro house and Dubstep to emerging sounds like moombahton and drumstep. Dedicated to cultivating a socially responsible, innovative approach to cutting-edge sound, the label offers a pro-artist creative environment that allows musicians the opportunity to work free from exclusive contractual agreements. In keeping with the Zen Compound's core values, the Temple Music Group employs green practices whenever possible. Packaging from post-consumer recycled materials, energy-efficient studio technologies and a commitment to digital promotion and sales are among the label's environmentally-conscious initiatives. The Temple Music Group released its debut compilation, Prana Volume One, in May 2008.

Paul Hemming - Owner / A&R
Paul Hemming is a creative cyclone: new ideas, artistic visions and music insights spring forth from his otherwise centered body. The Seattle-born and San Francisco-based nightclub and record label owner is also a DJ, filmmaker and dance music producer. In 2007 he launched the Zen Compound, home to the Temple Nightclub and Prana Restaurant, an ambitious creative site grounded in his love for music, art, Eastern aesthetics and bringing the world together.
Chris Sanders - Label Manager & Artist Services
Chris Sanders is young, motivated and dedicated to spreading the sounds of underground producers, sub genres and local talent. A producer and DJ himself, Chris has an ear for upcoming trends in the EDM scene, along with a long list of local parties and artists he has worked with. Artist interest is always a priority and Chris's professional approach in the often mismanaged electronic music industry is a welcomed relief.
